For 15 years, the EFIC-Grunenthal-Grant has funded innovative pain research around the globe by helping early-career scientists and physicians launch their careers in pain research. So far, the EFIC-Grunenthal-Grant has awarded approx. €1.6 million since 2004 and successfully funded 65 projects from 13 countries.
HERE IS WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR AN E-G-G:
RECEIVE FUNDING FOR YOUR PROJECT
Every two years, Grünenthal supports with a maximum of €200,000. Each individual grant has a maximum value of €40,000.
BE INDEPENDENT IN YOUR RESEARCH
The E-G-G gives you the freedom and flexibility to pursue your innovative research in the area of pain.
GAIN INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
The E-G-G provides successful recipients the opportunity to present their findings at the EFIC® 2022 Congress in Dublin, Europe’s largest pain science congress.
BUILD YOUR PROFESSIONAL NETWORKThis is your opportunity to connect with peers at the same stage of their career, working in the same field.
MAKE AN IMPACTWe are particularly interested in projects that can directly improve the management of pain or could help to improve the understanding of the pathophysiology of pain as well as potential treatment targets.
